HARRISON SITOMER

 

President & Chief Investment Officer

 

Harrison Sitomer serves as President and Chief Investment Officer of SL Green Realty Corp., New York City’s largest commercial office landlord and one of the nation’s leading real estate investment trusts. Mr. Sitomer oversees the Company’s investment platform, with responsibility for acquisitions, dispositions, financings, joint ventures, and debt and preferred equity investments, working closely with the executive leadership team to guide the Company’s strategic direction and long-term growth.

 

Mr. Sitomer has spent his entire career at SL Green, first as an intern in 2011 and subsequently taking his first full-time position with the Company in 2012 after graduating from the University of Pennsylvania. Beginning as an intern and rising through the ranks to senior leadership, he has played a central role in shaping and expanding the Company’s investment capabilities.

 

Under his leadership as Chief Investment Officer, the Company identified new sources of domestic and foreign capital, launched a $1.3 billion discretionary debt fund, expanded the nation’s leading SASB special servicing platform and further developed its asset management business, strengthening and diversifying the firm’s revenue streams.

 

Mr. Sitomer spearheaded the launch of the Food1st Foundation, a 501 (‌c)(3) established by SL Green at the outset of the COVID-19 pandemic. Food1st has raised more than $5 million and delivered over 1,000,000 meals across New York City, supporting communities in need while helping to reactivate more than 35 local kitchens and food service operators.

 

Mr. Sitomer serves on the Board of Advisors for the Mayor’s Fund to Advance New York City and on the Board of Directors of the American Friends of the Rabin Medical Center. He is also a member of the David Rockefeller Fellowship Program and the Milken Institute Young Leaders Circle.
