SL Green Realty Corp. Adds New SVP to Leasing Division

New York, NY – March 19, 2007 –
SL Green Realty Corp. (NYSE: SLG) today announced that is has hired William S. Elder, 41, as Senior Vice President, Leasing. He will assist in leasing SL Green’s 25 million square foot office portfolio.
Mr. Elder was previously a senior vice president and director of the New York City division of Reckson Associates Realty Corp. where, since 2005, he was responsible for managing the financial performance and revenue production of 5.5 million square feet of Class A New York City office space. Mr. Elder began his career in 1990 at The Shorenstein Company, a privately held real estate investment fund, where he was ultimately responsible for the leasing performance of all assets located on the east coast of the United States.
Commenting on the new hire, Steven M. Mr. Elder graduated from New York City’s Wagner College with a BS in Business Administration. He is actively involved with the Real Estate Board of New York where he sits on several committees.
