As Executive Vice-President, General Counsel – Real Property, Mr. Kessner is responsible for all legal matters regarding the leasing, construction and management of the company’s portfolio of office and retail properties. Mr. Kessner joined SL Green in 2000. From 1998 to 2000, Mr. Kessner was Associate General Counsel of Williams Real Estate Co., Inc., a leading New York City real estate management and brokerage firm. Prior to that time, Mr. Kessner was a partner in the law firm Kessner & Mass, LLP, where he represented a large client base of prominent New York City commercial landlords and national and international office and retail tenants. Mr. Kessner received a B.A. degree from the City University of New York 1980 and a J.D. degree from New York Law School in 1982.
