As Chief Financial Officer, Mr. Hughes is responsible for SL Green’s finance, capital markets, investor relations and administration. He joined SL Green in February 2004—his tenure coinciding exactly with SL Green’s three-year run as the nation’s #1 ranked office REIT. During this time, total return to shareholders surpassed 250% and SL Green’s market capitalization grew from $3.3 billion to $10.6 billion at year-end and over $14 billion with the close of the Reckson acquisition. In addition to being CFO, Mr. Hughes is also Chief Credit Officer of Gramercy Capital Corp.
